Facilities & Outdoor Locations

Our nursery is a calm, inspiring environment designed to spark children’s natural curiosity and support them as confident, capable learners. Inspired by The Curiosity ApproachⓇ, we believe children learn best through hands-on exploration, real experiences, and meaningful connections—with people, materials, and the world around them.

Every space in our curiosity approach nursery has been thoughtfully created to feel homely, purposeful, and rich in opportunity, allowing children to explore at their own pace while being gently guided by our experienced, nurturing team.

Kitchen & Dining

Mealtimes at the nursery are a warm and sociable part of the day, designed to bring children together in a calm and nurturing environment. Our youngest children in The Snug and The Burrow enjoy breakfast together in The Burrow’s welcoming dining and messy play area, while children in The Den (Preschool) and The Hive share a dedicated dining space within Preschool. The Hive also offers a charming bistro-style table for snacks, creating a relaxed and homely feel. These shared spaces encourage meaningful social interaction, helping children to build confidence, develop table manners, and learn important skills such as cutting up their food, all in ways that are appropriate to their age and stage of development. All meals are freshly prepared on-site using high-quality ingredients, with meat sourced from a local butcher and fresh fruit and vegetables carefully selected from local suppliers.

Outdoor Play

Our outdoor spaces are just as thoughtfully planned, with three beautiful gardens located beside The Snug, The Burrow and The Hive. Each garden offers its own unique learning opportunities, from planting and growing vegetables to exploring construction play, riding bikes, and engaging with sensory resources that stimulate curiosity and creativity. We place great importance on outdoor play and fresh air, ensuring children have plenty of opportunities to explore, discover, and enjoy the natural world every day.
